Work site

An excessive humidity value in work sites increases construction time. Indeed, some operations, such as painting and laying flooring and coatings require controlled levels of humidity, both in the environment and in construction materials: slabs, walls.

The moisture content in work sites is typically caused by the following factors:

  • Building moisture, water used for mixing materials and cleaning.
  • External insulating coating which does not favour vapour transpiration.
  • External factors such as rain and fog.
  • Flooding

An excessive humidity value in work sites increases construction time. Indeed, some operations, such as painting and laying flooring and coatings require controlled levels of humidity, both in the environment and in construction materials: slabs, walls. The use of a FRAL dehumidifier may bring air humidity in an indoor environment to optimal values that favour drying wet objects, walls, floors, making these recover faster, and resulting in substantial cost savings.

To facilitate dehumidification:
  • Close any openings, the environment must be closed and without air change.
  • Create adequate air movement possibly by adding of fans.
  • If possible, warm up the environment during the winter period, the temperature increase makes the dehumidifier more efficient.
